danny & frida

well, well, well, if it isn’t danny and frida. if you haven’t please go read the beach, books and love post that explains the story of what was i doing there with them, at their girls-only caribe-cooler-drinking afternoon.

you see, frida and danny share many things in common: they are both incredible singers, they are artsy, they love romance, empowering each other and they are both always super busy. messages can sit for many days on their dms without they worrying to answer them back. i must come clean here, i am always pushing frida to reply to her messages, to reach out to her friends (not that she imperatively need that push). i forgot to mention, danny also writes poetry and her own songs. she is getting a good-looking website like this one, made by yours truly (contact me if you want one, never failing to mention that).

and having this project in mind, i took them two instax. one remained with danny, and this one with us. don’t you dare to assume that danny’s has a better use of the light. i failed miserably in both. not an easy task ;)

i love seeing my girlfriend happy and i know that this was something she was looking forward quite a bit. not the biggest fan of going to the beach myself, so she’s always on board when someone invites her. keep in mind, i was there, so i’m not entirely a grinch.

there is simply no way to avoid being an itty-bitty melancholic when you’re strolling down the beach. what exactly does the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, or the feeling of the sand in our soles do to our mind? reminiscing better times? aching for the future? all the while, i do enjoy having these mental exercises. go to the beach and tell me yourself why this phenomenon might occur.
