fovr fender

so don’t call me, don’t call me, babe and… don’t ask where i am and with who. da-ra-la la-la-la and-all-the-other-words. this was the first time i heard “blue” by fovr (/fɔː/). i’m uncertain if it was newly written or if it was just being kept a secret until then but it truly didn’t matter, it is such a great song. i’d update this post when “blue” is finally out on all the streaming platforms so i can redirect the crap out of it in this small post.

this had to be the time when i learned that after taking the picture, you ought to keep still until the film’s comming out or you’ll have a ghostly-subject on it once it reveals. i was trying to be sneaky to get this one for when the song came out. not sure if it’ll stick. if you know fovr, you know that he’s all about symbolism and he’s represented by a quadrant filled with 4 different colors: blue, red, white and black. each representing a different state of mind, but i’d debate that it represent a part of his soul. he is an amazing songwriter, that’s a fact. and i know there’s not much he can do (insider information) about it — he sometimes doubt this fact.

title might be oversimplified but i like to think that the guitar in question (spoilers: is a fender) had the purpose of joining me through my time in this amazing project. it gave us the ability to play live for the first time and it was with it that felipe shred the amazing solo for “rey de la nada”. do yourself a favor and keep an eye out for the following songs. i know i will.
